- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆It's really sad the Luna/Mt.Vernon church area can not get any descent eating restaurants or fast food service chains in this area. Tonight I ordered chicken (AND FRIES) from VJs. I was disappointed when I got home because first of all it was $29 for me and my family to eat and secondly they did not put my fries in the bag...when I know I told them and the lady repeated my order back to me. So I know she heard me...so I called them. The lady apologized and told me to come back and she would give me my fries. So I drove all the way back to VJs...when I got there the lady said "Oh I didn't charge you for fries, you will have to buy the fries." SERIOUSLY, I paid $29 for 3 pieces of chicken, 3 bisquits (which were nasty and we threw them out) and a 12" inch pizza! That's ridiculous...be careful...their food is overpriced probably because they know there is no competition in this area and secondly the food is not that great. The employees were very unprofessional. BTW I just walked out, I was not going to pay more for fries after I already spent $30!...please pass this to anyone you want...it's worth driving 20 more miles into town to get good food.By Kim Wickham, August 21, 2017
